Strategic Plan
In order to improve its service on providing reliable and timely data to users, the Central Statistics Agency of Ethiopia has prepared a strategic plan document in April 2005. This strategic plan document tried to investigate the Agency’s strengths and weaknesses in a very transparent fashion. It includes a section analyzing the legal power given to the CSA and the activities that has not been accomplished by the CSA due to various reasons. It also proposes different options to be considered to improve its weakness and become a model of statistical agency. In addition, it contains the time frame for various activities to be performed in the next five years as well as their financial and manpower requirements.
Unfortunately this Strategic Plan document is available in Amharic (PDF) only. It will be available in English as well very soon.
